A Dreamy Flagstaff Cabin Retreat
Nestled among the tall pines of Northern Arizona, this A-frame cabin in Flagstaff was the perfect getaway—but it needed a transformation. A longtime Frances Designs client turned to us to remodel their dream retreat, creating a space that felt both rustic and refined.
We knocked down walls to open up the main living areas, allowing the kitchen, dining, and family room to flow seamlessly together. Large walls of windows flood the space with natural light, blurring the lines between indoors and out. A modern kitchen upgrade was a must for this client, who loves to cook, while the color palette—rich greens, warm browns, soft creams, and bold black—was inspired by the surrounding forest.
In the bedrooms and bathrooms, we layered woodsy details with modern luxuries—think river rock shower floors, dark slate-like tile, and thoughtfully curated furnishings and decor. The result? A perfectly balanced Flagstaff cabin remodel, where nature meets comfort in every detail.
